21 Canal Street receives generous community donation
Kawartha Lakes hired W&G Landscaping to complete a clean-up outside of the municipal building located at 21 Canal Street in Bobcaygeon. The landscaping company was hired to re-grade the outside stone wall as well as the parking lot.
In a gesture towards the community, W&G Landscaping generously donated river rock to be installed along the wall between the parking lot and the original stone. This was their initiative to assist with beautifying the area where a previous strip of grass used to be. W&G Landscaping provided both the river rock and labour as part of the donation.
21 Canal Street is home to many community and municipal services, such as the Bobcaygeon Library, the Boyd Museum, the Bobcaygeon Chamber of Commerce and Service Ontario.
“Generous donations such as the one provided by W&G Landscaping help keep the community clean and thriving. We greatly appreciate this initiative and hope the residents enjoy the updated look at 21 Canal Street the next time they visit,” stated Jörg Petersen, Manager, Buildings and Properties for Kawartha Lakes.
