Man arrested for robbery

On May 20 the City of Kawartha Lakes Police Service received an emergency call to 911 for the report of a robbery that had occurred at a residence on Lindsay Street South in Lindsay.

Following an investigation, a male suspect was identified and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

On May 31 the man was located and arrested by the City of Kawartha Lakes Police Service.

Charged with robbery is 29-year-old Jesse Michael Gorrill of Lindsay.

The Accused was held in custody to attend a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice.
