Passed away at home, in his sleep on Friday January 31st, 2025, at the age of 82. Son of the late Jean and Leo. Beloved husband of Shirley. Loved father of Connie, and the late Joseph. Cherished Poppa of Austin, Brianna, Courtney, Calista, Jade, and his great-grandson Mason. Survived by siblings Glenn (Louise), Karen (Rodney), Lynda, and Therese (Patrick). Predeceased by siblings Patricia, Donald, Marlane, and Brian. Wayne will be missed by his extended family, friends, and his beloved dogs, Buddy, Kila, and Luke.

A service was held at the Stoddart Funeral Home 24 Mill Street, Lindsay on Wednesday February 5th, 2025. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Omemee Foodbank would be appreciated by the family.
