With his children by his side, Wayne Morris passed away peacefully after a short illness on Friday, September 19, 2025. Just recently, he and his beloved wife, Donna, celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary.

Wayne was predeceased by his cherished mother, Marion Grace Morris. He is survived by his loving sister, Marny Morris; his children, Meegan, Karyn, and Gregory Morris; and his five grandsons: Jared, Anson, Logan, Oscar, and Connor.

Wayne leaves behind many beautiful memories, especially those spent at the cottage -- a place filled with laughter, love, and family.

A few of Wayne's passions were to play and coach hockey, golfing the green's, finding the perfect fishing spot, and riding his Harley. We hope he is now reunited with his beloved dogs, especially his giant Newfoundland’s, whose gentle spirit matched Wayne's own. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

In keeping with Wayne's wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation can be made to the Ross Memorial Hospital Foundation, or the Humane Society of Kawartha Lakes which would be appreciated by the family.
