Obituary For Shirley Norma Jackson (nee Marshall)

Passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home with family by her side. Now at rest with her beloved husband Earl Jackson and her cherished son Wayne Jackson. Loving mother of Pam Jackson. Devoted grandmother of Melissa (Donato), Ryan (Robyn), Steven (Sakshi) & Damian. Great grandmother of Faith (Conner), Jackson & Mason. Predeceased by her sister Patricia Hess. Special thanks to Amber Smith, Kathy Mcabe & James Casey for all of their unwavering care & support. Shirley will be missed by her many friends at the Coffee Club. Remembered by Ron Barrett.

Shirley & her husband Earl jointly owned The Jackson Restaurant in Lindsay. Shirley took pride in her community involvement and belonged to many organizations within the City of Kawartha Lakes including the Rebekah Lodge & the Red Hat Ladies. Shirley loved to shop and always portrayed a beautiful, well dressed woman. She enjoyed animals and was often donating to the shelter. One special animal held a dear spot in her heart, her cat companion Tigger “Titi”, who stayed with her until the time of her passing.

A visitation took place at Lakeland Funeral Centre (19 Moose Road, Lindsay) on Friday April 11th, 2025 at 11AM until time of service at 12PM. She then joined Earl and Wayne at Riverside Cemetery. There was a reception to follow at Lakeland Funeral Centre.

Donations in Shirley’s memory can be made to The Rebekah Lodge, The Red Hat Ladies or The Canadian Cancer Society.
