It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Scott Lawrence Carr on May 30, 2025, at home with his beloved twin brother, Colin, by his side.

Born on August 14, 1981, Scott was a kind-hearted, loyal, and fun-loving soul who touched the lives of everyone who knew him. He was predeceased by his father, Wayne Carr, and is lovingly remembered by his devoted mother, Isabel; his twin brother and best friend, Colin; and his cherished son, Zackary. He will also be deeply missed by his loving sister, Lindsey; niece, Brooke; nephew, Cameron; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.

Scott worked for many years as a heavy equipment operator, often alongside Colin, forming not just a working partnership but a bond that was unbreakable. He had a lifelong love for motorcycles, and in his younger days, found joy in hunting and spending time outdoors. Music was a passion of his—he loved playing his guitar—and nothing made him happier than sharing laughs and a few beers with good friends.

Scott held special memories of his childhood days spent at Nogle’s Creek with his Gran and Grandpa, and later at Skootamatta Lake, where he found peace and connection with nature. He is fondly remembered by Jim and so many others who held him close.

Scott’s warm smile, generous spirit, and big heart will be missed more than words can say.

Cremation will be taking place, and there will be a private family Celebration of Life held at a later date.
