Passed away peacefully, at Extendicare Peterborough, on July 20, 2025. Ruth Ann Burrows (née Baron), of Bobcaygeon, in her 79 th year. Loving mother to Debbie (Rick), Krista (Rob), Robert (Julie) and Christopher (Mary). Dear grandmother of Tara, Ricky, Ian, Lauren and Tristan.

Ruth is survived by her sister Roylene, nephew Jason and nieces Aubrey, Cassidy, Laurie and Caitlin. Predeceased by her husbands Rudy Wimmer and Jack Burrows, her parents Roy and Mary Baron (née Boyle), and her brother Robert Baron.

Ruth was known as an amazing gardener and cook. She also enjoyed painting and golf and was devoted to her Westie, Bella. She loved Bobcaygeon and the many friends she met over the years - most important to her in these recent years were her circle of close girlfriends who brought her much joy. Ruth was also known for her love of music and fine red wine both a staple at her frequent hosting of family and friend get togethers. Her favourite holiday was Christmas where she spent weeks decorating and baking in anticipation of her family “coming home”.

Ruth took great pride in her children and grandchildren, always loving, always supporting and always cheering them on. Ruth will be forever in our hearts.

Arrangements entrusted to THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES -MONK CHAPEL, 6 Helen Street Bobcaygeon. A private family interment will take place. A celebration of Ruth’s life will be held at a later date.
