Obituaries

It is with shattered hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved boy, Rowen John Irwin Greening, born January 9, 2014, and passed on March 5, 2026. He was only 12 years old.

Rowen, always loved and cherished by his father and mother, Adam and Maureen Greening, and his sister Michaela.

Worshipped by his grandparents Mary Ann Farquhar, and Vivian and the late Blain Fullbrook, he will be deeply missed by his aunts and uncles Laura Greening, Jody Greening, Laura Verbik, Michael Farquhar and Jeff Farquhar. Rowen will always be remembered by his cousins Alan Bennett, Jacob Bennett, Tyler Greening, and Ivy Greening.

Anyone that was blessed enough to have met Rowen knew that he was special. His love of life showed in everything he did. He loved his family fiercely, he was a devoted and loyal friend and gave everything he had to his beloved sport of hockey.

Friends and family were welcomed as we Celebrated Rowen’s Life, Saturday March 14th from where words of comfort were shared at the Pefferlaw Lions Hall, 38 Pete’s Lane, Pefferlaw, ON.

Fellow players and friends were asked to bring skates, mini sticks, and were asked to wear their team jerseys, as they had a skate in Rowen’s Memory as part of the Celebration.
