Obituary For Ronald (Ron) Charles Hurren

Ronald (Ron) Charles Hurren of Lindsay, Ontario, passed away November 12, 2025, age 71. He is lovingly remembered by his children, Justin (Janna) and Darren (Allie), and grandchildren Vaalea, Charles, Brianna, and Felix. He is also survived by longtime companion Evelyn Carlson. Ron was predeceased by his wife Catherine; parents, Annie and Charles; and siblings Earl, Joyce, and Ross. He spent most of his life in the Lindsay area and was known for his quiet nature and love of the radio. Cremation has taken place. He will be interred at Dunsford Cemetery at a later date. In his memory, donations may be made to the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation or Humane Society of Kawartha Lakes.
