It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ronald Gatward on Wednesday, May 6th, 2026. In his 93rd year, Ronald passed away peacefully surrounded by comfort of his family at Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay. Cherished son of the late Charles and Millie Gatward. Predeceased by wife, Joan Gatward, with whom he shared fifty-six years of happiness in marriage. Ronald was the father of Robert Gatward, and the late Steven Gatward (Lori Gatward). Proud grandfather of Dylan Gatward and predeceased by his second partner, Mary-Lou Ross.

Those who knew Ronald understood his passion for golf and curling. He was also known for his love of travel. Ronald was a proud, longtime member of several organizations, including the Kinsmen, K-40, Lions, and Probus.

Arrangements entrusted to RUSHNELL FUNERAL HOME - BELLEVILLE (80 Highland Ave. 613-968-5588). In accordance with Ronald's wishes, cremation has taken place.
