Ronald Autry Flewell passed away peacefully on June 30, 2026, from Parkinsons Disease.

Ron was the devoted husband and best friend of Ada Patrica Rittenhouse for 62 wonderful years. Together they built a loving family, raising their daughters, Donna and Susan, and later welcoming grandchildren Alexandra, Ben, and Jack, whom he proudly adored as "Papa." He was known for his warm smile, gentle nature, his laughter, and enduring friendships.

Born April 6, 1941 to Jack Flewell and Elma Marion (Vance), Ron grew up on the family farm, 6th line Uxbridge before beginning work at General Motors at age 17. A dedicated employee and CAW Union member for over 30 years.

In 1969, Ron and Pat settled on their beloved farm at Peniel near Woodville, where he developed a lifelong passion for antique collecting and antique tractors and became a founding member of the East Lake Simcoe Steam Show. Later also enjoyed his homes on Lake Scugog and Angeline St. Lindsay.

Ron is lovingly remembered by Pat; daughters Donna (Donald McCormick) and Susan (Noel Cordahi); grandchildren Alexandra Flewell, Ben Ballam, Jack Flewell-Lu (Kathryn Warburton), and step-grandchildren Saina Lu, James (Makayla), and Luke McCormick; sisters Carolyn (Murray) Neuman and Debra (Brian) Summerfeldt. He was predeceased by his brother, Reginald (Vicki) Flewell.

Ron will be dearly missed by many friends around Victoria County.
