Passed away peacefully at Ross Memorial Hospital on Sunday, February 22nd, 2026 at the incredible age of 100.

Robert, also known as Bob, or Gramps, was the beloved husband of Mary Weir for 60 years. Predeceased by his parents, Mary Lily Weir, and John Weir; dear brother of Georgina Weir (Bill), Jack Weir (Evelyn) and Pansy Weir.

Bob will be lovingly remembered by his three children, Suzanne, Michelle, and Lorne (Debbie); his grandchildren, great grandchildren, and his great-great grandchildren.

The Weir family would like to thank the Palliative Care Unit and staff at Ross Memorial Hospital, as well as the PSW’s and staff at William Place for taking great care of Bob.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
