Passed away peacefully surrounded by his wife and his girls, on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at the Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay, at age 72. Bob Hartin, beloved husband of Rose Mary (nee Murtha) of Omemee. Loving father of Monique Hartin, Melissa and her husband Rob Walton, Christine Johnston, Emily Hartin, Kayla and her husband Mac Glover, and Kaitlin Hartin and her partner Brad Haglund. Loved grandpa of Ryan, Justin, Ellie, Grace, Coen, Kobe, Marlowe, and Briar. Dear brother of Jim Hartin and his wife the late Brenda, predeceased by his sister Betty Russell. Will be missed by all his brother in laws, sister in laws, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins, and the entire Murtha family. The family of Robert Hartin will receive friends at the Stoddart Funeral Home, 24 Mill Street, in Lindsay on Monday, March 2, 2026 from 2 - 4 and 6-8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Luke's Roman Catholic Church, 340 St. Luke's Road, Downeyville on Tuesday, March 3 at 11 a.m. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made by cheque through the Stoddart Funeral Home to the Lakeridge Heath Foundation (Cancer) in Oshawa.
