Passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness, on Sunday, September 28, 2025 at Caressant Care McLaughlin, at age 71. Bob Burgess loving father of Jason Burgess of Fenelon Falls, and Ashley Burgess and her partner Justin Robertson of Bowmanville. Loved poppa of Ava, Choice, Chloe, Julius, Alaric, Nyjah, Jayce, and Charli. Will be missed by his daughters-in-law Michelle Graves, and Margaret Evans of Lindsay, as well as his many friends. A service to celebrate the life of Robert Burgess will be held at the Dunsford Cemetery (1927 Kawartha Lakes County Road 36) on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at 2 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donation may be made by cheque through the Mackey Funeral Home (33 Peel Street, Lindsay) to Alzheimer Society of Canada.
