Obituaries

Passed away peacefully at Caressant Care in Lindsay in his 103rd year. Predeceased by his parents Jack and Elizabeth Flood, brothers Leonard Flood, Fred Flood, John Flood and sisters Elizabeth Groves, Joan Price and Mary Burns. Also predeceased by brothers in law Robert Burns, Kenneth Groves, William Hutchison and sister in law Edith Flood. Robert (Bob) will greatly be missed by wife Carol Flood and sister Linda Hutchison. He will be remembered fondly and with great affection by many nieces, nephews and grandchildren.

Bob was a lifelong farmer in the Richmond Hill and Little Britain area and loved riding horses. He also won 1st place in harness racing at the Barrie Racetrack, however it was not recorded. Bob was a member of St. John's Presbyterian Church. He was a thoughtful friend to many and will be held dear in the hearts of all who knew him. The family will receive friends at Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay on Sunday, April 27th from 12:00 pm until time of service in the chapel at 1:00pm. Interment at St. John's Anglican Church Cemetery, Richmond Hill.
