Passed away peacefully with family by his side at the Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay, Ontario on Thursday, February 26, 2026 after a resilient and courageous battle with Parkinson’s Progressive Supranuclear Palsy and Behavioural variant frontal temporal disorder. Bob was a loving and caring husband to Fatima Jamieson and father to son, Sean Jamieson. Son to Mary Sheila Jamieson and Dr. Robert E. Jamieson, brother to Mary, Margaret, Cathy, Carol, Claire, Pat, Theresa, Michael, Tom, David, Grace, Loretta and Peter. A lover of books, music, travel and politics. We will remember Bob for his brilliant mind, caring nature, clever humour, hilarious jokes, stories and brutal yet genuine honesty. He will be deeply missed. In lieu of flowers donations can be made by cheque through the Mackey Funeral Home or online to Hurvitz Brain Science Research, Sunnybrook Hospital.

A Funeral Mass and Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Details to come.
