Passed away peacefully on March 15th, 2026 in Oshawa, Ontario. Born January 21st, 1946 in Orillia, Ontario to loving parents Maude Ethel Beaton and Robert William Beaton. Beloved husband to Donna Jean Beaton and father of Maureen Beaton and Neil Beaton. Cherished brother to Shirley Martin of Orillia, Annie Andrews of Orillia, and the late Marilyn Voth of Alberta. He will be deeply missed by his many nieces and nephews. Bob had an earnest passion for farming all his life. In 1966, he graduated from the Kemptville Agriculture School, and would do on to retire as a provincial meat inspector. Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, 40 William St N, Lindsay, where Bob was a member and an elder for many years on Tuesday March 31, 2026. Visitation will take place from 11:30am to 1pm, with a service to follow. If desired, donations may be made to the St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Lindsay.
