Entered into rest peacefully at the Ross Memorial Hospital on Thursday, June 5, 2025. Neil, in his 84th year, was the beloved partner to Susan Sanders. Loving father to Marleen McCarrell (Dwayne), and predeceased by Sharon Deighton (survived by Paul), and David Finney. Cherished grandfather to Cassandra (Mark), Matthew (Michelle), Jonathan (Aleesha), Courtney, Mitchell, Jordan, Jamie, and Jennifer. Dear step-father to Tanys, and Doyle Sanders. Step-grandfather to John, and Zachary. Great-grandfather to 10. Beloved son of the late Mansell and Mary Finney, and predeceased by siblings; Carl Finney (Valerie), Marie Van Beek (Harry), and Ray Finney (survived by Donna). Neil will be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken, and a Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. If desired, a memorial donation can be made to Ross Memorial Hospital Foundation, which would be appreciated by the family.
