With great sadness, we announce the passing of Morley Duncan Brown of Lindsay.

Morley passed peacefully in his sleep early Wednesday morning at Ross Memorial Hospital in his 91st year. Beloved husband of Barbara (nee Barcroft) for more than 66 years, father of Cheryl Brown, Richard Brown (Pat), Leanne Brown (best friend Sheldon Heatherington) and Grandfather of Nicolas Brown (Emma), Shelbie Brown (Justin Hubbard) and step grandchild Legion Rempel (Cassandra Buckle). Morley had a strong faith in the Lord. At the time of his passing, he was an elder at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church. He previously attended Queen Street United. Before retiring, Morley worked many years as manager at both Cashway and Co-op. He was a very social man. He enjoyed wood working, curling, fishing, sailing, hunting, cottaging, skiing (cross-country, down-hill, and water), entertaining, and serving in the church soup kitchen.

Morley will be missed by all who knew him and remembered as an outgoing, optimistic, and caring soul.

Celebration of Life took place on May 3rd, at St. Andrews.
