Obituary For Michael Fleming

Our hearts are breaking with the loss of our beloved Michael. His infectious smile and enduring personality made him loved by all who knew him. There was never a person who enjoyed life or people more. He was an example of how to live life. Precious son of Craig and Karen, brother to Matthew (Emma), brother to Beth (Sydney), nephew to Aunt Sue (John), Uncle Ken (Leslie) and Aunt Karen. Grandson to Helen and Karl Fleming. Nana Marlene and Papa Jack Gordon will have welcomed him with open arms. Fondly remembered by many, many other family members and friends. God allowed us the blessing of having Michael be a part of ALL of our lives for 31 years. He was a gentle, kind soul. We are all better for having known Michael and he will live on in all of our hearts forever. So many friends, so many memories. Some would say Michael was fortunate to have the family he had, but we were the fortunate ones to have had our little ray of sunshine. A Service of Remembrance will be held Saturday, January 17 at 3pm at Cedar Hill United, 241 Cedar Street, Cambridge. Donations in Michael’s memory may be made to two of his favourite places - Fenelon Falls United Church, Fenelon Falls or Cedar Hill United Church, Cambridge. “The Greatest measure of success is who you have touched.” “You can’t blend in if you were born to stand out.”

    I am deeply sorry for your lost, lost is an indescribable feeling. Sending your family prayers and my deepest condolences from the bottom of my heart. I do not know Michael.. but something in me told me to read the obituary's in the paper this morning and my eyes were set directly on Micheal's... and i smiled and felt a sense of peace i was longing for... I recently lost someone very close to me and God has truly been my saving grace.. i moved to Lindsay yesterday all alone and this morning there was a news paper on the table and keep in mind i never read the paper... but God was pushing me to open it and find your sweet boys obituary. I hope this is okay... i am reaching out in the only way i know how by following gods will and i truly felt called to reach out i thought it was silly or might not be the place but god would not leave me alone till i wrote something...and let you know he is at peace and doing okay... i heard this very contagious laugh in my head and boy it sounds like he was such a lovely soul and his laughter and smile must of brought a lot of people joy. This is the only way i can describe this as truly as God sign... and i know he is up there dancing with my grandfather, and telling jokes and that in itself brings me so much peace and joy, i did not know i needed. I spent this morning crying and praying on my knees singing and worshipping for God to use me and do his will that i wasn't ready before but i am now.. and this happens. I also asked God to send me a new church i could go to since i am new to Lindsay.. and i also saw on your sweet boys obituary the churches he liked and i will be making a donation in his name and i will be going to a church service the next one felon falls has so thank you and i thank your sweet boy Micheal. I know grief is indescribable but i am praying this brought some peace to you, i know even though he is not physically here anymore he is still changing someones life and it happened to be mine today, so thank you and god bless you and you family and again i heard his laugh.... boy i wish i could of meet him what an amazing soul he was, and know he is resting easy and having a blast up there.
