It is with great sadness that the family of Mark (Marten) Koetstra announce his passing at the age of 76, at Ross Memorial Hospital, on Friday, December 19, 2025, surrounded by his family. He will be deeply missed by his best friend and wife of 51 years, Jane (nee Guthrie). Cherished father of Ryan, Mike, Ian (Shannon), Melissa and Rachelle Symington (Pete). Beloved Opa to Harleigh, Brooklyn, Miles, Maisie, Sully, Vinnie and Warrie. Brother to Vivian Kartechner (Wayne), Andy (Jane) and Karen Mongeon (Rick). Remembered by his sister and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends. In keeping with Mark’s wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, April 11, 2026 from 1:00 P.M. – 3:00 P.M. at Lakeland Funeral & Cremation Centre, 19 Moose Road, Lindsay.
