In her 53rd year, passed away on Monday, May 11, 2026 in her home with her family by her side. Beloved wife of Paul Mollon. Daughter of Robert and Donna Blackbourn (née Foote). Predeceased by her grandparents Clarence and Irene Foote, and Norman and Ethel Blackbourn. Loving mother of Erika Vaughan (Ostin), and Andrew Vaughan (Morsana). Proud Grandma of Lilly, Oliver, and Henry. Dear sister of Sheri Spyker (Scott), and aunt of Ryan and Kyle. Marilyn will be deeply missed by her in-laws Linda & Dale Shier, Dean & Annette Mollon, and her special friends Barb & Marty Overwijk. She was loved by many family, friends, and co-workers.

A special thanks to Dr. Paul, and her palliative care team to allow Marilyn to stay at home until her passing.

Memorial donations can be made to the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation, or Community Care City of Kawartha Lakes Hospice Services, and can be made online, or by cheque through the funeral home.

In keeping with Marylin’s wishes, a private family graveside service will take place at a later date, following cremation.
