Longtime driver with the Lindsay Transit and Community Care, getting people around the community with safety and a smile. Lorne was the beloved husband for 63 years to the late Elaine Brown. Loving father of Lorne Keeler, Wayne (Deanna) Keeler, Henry Keeler and Karen (Steve) O’Neill. Cherished grandfather of Bill, Joe (Candice), Desirea; Brent (Jessica), Jeremy (Steffani) and Megan O’Neill (Nick Ryan); also, great grandfather of Brayden, Elianna and Caleb; Hadley, Watson and Willa, Duncan. Survived by his brother Walter (Ria) Keeler and Joan Albert. Predeceased by daughter-in-law Cheryl Keeler and brother-in-law Ephrem Albert. A burial service will take place at Riverside Cemetery, Lindsay Street South on Saturday March 1st at 11:00 am. A celebration of life to follow at Celebrations, 35 Lindsay Street North, Lindsay from noon to 3:00 pm. Words of remembrance will take place at 1:30 pm. If desired memorial donations to the Community Care Lindsay or Ross Memorial Hospital can be made online or at Mackey Funeral Home by cheque.
