Entered into rest peacefully with family by her side on Sunday, March 9, 2025 at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre. Lisa passed away on the very day she and her beloved husband and best friend, John McLeod, would have celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary. Loving Mom to Lesley (Peter), Amanda (Cory), and Mark (Hailey). Adored Grammy to Bennett and Croía. Dear sister to Lorry Shorts (Melinda) and Darren Shorts (Alex). Lisa was the beloved daughter of the late Floyd and Carole Shorts. She is also survived by her in-laws, Brian and Linda McLeod, and was a sister-in-law to Kevin McLeod and LeeAnne Lloyd (Brad). Lisa will be deeply missed by her many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Visitation will take place at Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay on Friday, March 14th from 2:00 – 4:00pm and 6:00 – 8:00pm, and at Celebrations, 35 Lindsay Street North, Lindsay on Saturday, March 15th from 2:00pm until time of funeral service at 3:00pm. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation can be made to Big Brother Big Sister Kawartha Lakes would be appreciated by the family.
