It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Linda Gail Gushue at Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay, Ontario on May 28th, 2025, in her 83rd year.

Born in Toronto, Ontario, known to all as Gail, she lived a life filled with grace, kindness, and strength. After a dedicated career with Lombard Insurance, Gail poured her heart into what mattered most to her—family.

Gail was the beloved wife of William (Bill) Gushue for 54 cherished years. Together, they built a life rich in love and laughter. She was a devoted and loving mother to Kirk Hamilton (Laura), Hugh Hamilton (Laura), Jody Wolsey (Peter), and Julie Baldino (Enzo).

Her greatest joy came from being “Nana” to her adored grandchildren: Kyle & Alysha, Ryan & Madeline, Tyler, Abigail, and Danica. Gail also had a passion for baking, sewing, and gardening, and took great pride in sharing her talents and love with those around her.

Gail is predeceased by her dear brothers Frank and Donald Loscombe, and her memory will forever remain a blessing to all who knew her.
