Obituaries

Our very dear brother Larry Ralph Bingley died peacefully on September 11th, 2025 at Ross Memorial Hospital after losing his battle with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma and Prostate Cancer.

He will be lovingly remembered by his sons Ryan Bingley (Sona), his daughter-in-law Posha Bingley, his two handsome grandsons Joshua & Kyle Bingley, his sister Linda Bingley, his brother Don Bingley (Josephine), and his sister Diane Madill (Steve). Predeceased by his brother Gary Bingley (2020). Dearly missed by his nephews Ronald Bingley, David Bingley, & Stephen Bingley, Abe Elsharkowi (Jenn), and his nieces Pamela Madill and Angela Madill, along with his great nieces & nephews.

Larry will be missed by his closest & dearest friend John Warburg (Elizabeth) and other good friends and neighbours, both near and far. Also, a special mention goes out to his many friends made at the Toronto Board of Education after spending almost 35 years there as a Master Electrician.

Our family would like to thank all of Larry’s many doctors, especially the ones from the Palliative Care Unit at Ross Memorial Hospital. A special thank you to Parameds and Community Care/Kawartha Lakes that provided the nurses and PSW’s that helped take care of Larry over these last few months.

A memorial visitation/service will be held at Lindsay Golf & Country Club (282 Lindsay St. S., Lindsay, ON) in their Clubhouse Space, on Sunday, September 21st, 2025 from 12:00 noon – 4:00 p.m.
