Peacefully passed away at Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay on Friday, October 31, 2025, at the age of 83. He was the beloved husband of Kaye Lawrence (predeceased), with whom he shared 62 years of marriage. John was a much loved father to Jo-Anne (Brian) Walden, Susan (Drew) Arnold, and Theresa Lawrence (Bill Silva). He was a cherished Gramps to Kristy (Chris) Dwyer, Kayla Walden, Josh (Erin) Webster, Justin Walden, Ben (Mckenna) Webster, Christopher Francis, Sophia Serracino-Inglott, Nicholas Francis, Anthony Serracino-Inglott, Aaron (Jenni) Serracino-Inglott, Katelyn (Jimmy) Hughes, Liam and Kailyn Arnold. He was also a proud great-grandfather to Jacob, Brooklyn, Mori, Lexi, Aurora, Jaxson, Olivia, Isaiah, Grace, Caleb, and Clara. John is survived by his sister, Mary (Jim) McCormick, and predeceased by his daughter, Jackie (Jeff) Francis, as well as his sisters Daisy (Clifford) Grimoldby, Olive (Bob) Jaques, Irene (Lloyd) Tombs, and Bernice (Robert) Eagles. John will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, November 14 from 1pm to 3pm at Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay.
