Obituaries

GRAHAM, Joan Frances (nee Bristow) passed away peacefully at home on July 27th, 2025, after a brief illness. She was a retired teacher with the Victoria County Board of Education and taught for many years at Lady Eaton Elementary School in Omemee, Ontario. She was the daughter of the late Hilliard and Mildred Bristow, and the dear sister of Gayle (Mel) Ogryzek, Phyllis Laidley, and Allan Bristow (Corinne), and predeceased by her brothers Jerry (Dorothy) Bristow and Morley Bristow, and brother-in-law Ted Laidley. Joan was a loving aunt of several nieces and nephews and dear special friend of William Boulton. At Joan’s request, cremation has taken place, and the celebration of life service will be held at Trinity United Church in Omemee, Ontario, on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at 11 a.m. Interment at Emily Cemetery in Omemee will follow. Joan will forever be remembered and loved by her family and friends. Rest in Peace.
