Obituaries

Our father passed peacefully on July 4th. Predeceased by his wife Mary Saigeon and daughter Beverley Martin. He will be greatly missed by his daughters Alice (Gary), Liz and Mary and his son James (Heather). Caring grandfather to Jeff, Greg, Shelley, Ben, M.J., Marty and Robert and great-grandfather to Addison, Carter, Eric, Maddie, Annabelle, Callum, Tao, Koa, Abby and Wilder.

Jim will be remembered for his stories, dad jokes and his crazy ties. He enjoyed a long life having recently celebrated his 95th birthday.

Jim's family received friends at the JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION & TRIBUTE CENTRE, 8 Princes' St. W., Fenelon Falls. Funeral Mass took place at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church on Monday, July 13, 2026. Interment St. Aloysius Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated.
