Obituaries

Irene Frances Earle (Ollerhead) passed away at Ross Memorial Hospital on April 16, 2025, with family by her side after a battle with dementia.

Irene was predeceased by her husband Fred, daughter Gail and granddaughter Mandi.

Survived by her son Chris Earle (Dana) of Ontario, Daughters Lisa Carter (Jean-Marc) of New Brunswick , Penny Earle of Ontario and Sharon Earle of Ontario.

Irene grew up in Newfoundland and moved back and forth to Ontario then settle in Toronto for many years before moving up to the Kawartha area where she spend many of her remaining years. Irene was a strong-willed woman that guided those she cared for through life. Nothing could change her mind if she had made it up. She loved to plant and watch her garden of flowers grow in the spring and summer and liked to be busy all the time. She loved music especially guitar and spent many years listening to her husband sing and play guitar. She loved to cook for everyone and welcomed generations of family in her home. She was thoughtful and giving and helped her family when they need it. One of her favorite pastimes and visiting with her grandkids. She loved to watch them play and as they were a very big part of her life. She helped to raise two more generations after her own 5 children and Cheryl, Emily, and Cameron forever grateful in all our hearts.

Irene will be sadly missed by her sister Isabella Pilgrim (NFLD) and extended family her children Chris, Lisa Penny and Sharon, her grandchildren Cheryl, Cody, Kalli, Ricky, Robbie, Desiree, Damian, Dustin, and Joshua, great grandchildren Emily and Cameron, Branden and Bria, Rainer and Zinnia, Hayley and Sage along with great great grandsons Archer and with Kane on the way.
