It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Harry “Bud” White on April 23, 2026, at the age of 96. Beloved husband of the late Marlene White (Thurston) with whom he shared 68 wonderful years of marriage. Loving father of Lynn Nicholls (Jeff), Nancy White (Glenn, predeceased), and Judy White (Andy). Cherished grandfather of Kari (Adam), Stacy (Leon), Ryan (Crystal), Emily (Stephan) and Garett (Areege), and proud great-grandfather of Caden, Tayla, Lexon, Meegan, Brianne and Lauren. Dear sibling of Marlen, Jack, and Ted (predeceased).

Born in Toronto, Bud attended Danforth Technical School and went on to build a remarkable career as an entrepreneur. He began with a small printing business in a Toronto garage and later became the respected owner of Exacta Precision Products, where he formed lasting friendships with employees, suppliers and colleagues.

Bud and Marlene raised their family in Scarborough before settling in Markham, and later made their permanent home in Bobcaygeon, where they spent many cherished years. Bud especially enjoyed fishing and spending time in his garden.

Known for his warmth, humour, and curiosity, Bud had a lifelong love of learning and a remarkable ability to connect with others. He brought joy to those around him and will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and positive spirit. Bud will be deeply missed by all those who knew him.

The family extends sincere thanks to the staff of B3 and Palliative Care for their compassionate support.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 27, from 1:00–4:00 p.m. at the Shore Spa Community Club, 40 Marina Drive, Port 32, Bobcaygeon.
