Grace, daughter of Agnes "Acey" Coleman and John 'Rollie' Reid, passed away peacefully at the age of 91 in Lindsay, Ontario on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 after a long battle with Alzheimer's. She leaves behind her loving children, Bronwen (Alan Howe), and Derek, and grandchildren Kaitlyn, Morgan, Chase, and Sullivan. Grace is reunited in heaven with her husband of 52 years, Vince. Grace was born and raised in Selkirk, Manitoba, along with her two brothers Robert (Bob), and John (Jack), both predeceased, then moved to Ontario where she met and married Vince and raised her family. Grace will be deeply missed and remembered for her abiding faith in her Lord, her quiet, artistic nature, her quirky sense of humour and her love for all dogs, but especially the 5 that lived in her home over the years. Gifted and creative by nature, Grace excelled in oil and palette knife painting, garment sewing and preparing truly gourmet feasts in the kitchen and she passed these passions on to her children. Grace's family would like to express their gratitude to the staff and caregivers at Frost Manor, Lindsay for the outstanding and compassionate care they provided Grace during her 10 year stay there. Frost became her home and we are grateful. For family and friends wishing to pay respects, a Celebration of Life will be held in the spring on April 18, from 1pm to 4pm at Celebrations, 35 Lindsay Street North, Lindsay, ON.
