Passed away peacefully on December 8, 2025 at Westshore Retirement Village, Port Perry.

Evelyn, in her 88th year, leaves behind her beloved husband of 58 years, Lloyd Tindall. Dear sister of Betty Peel (Glen), Carol Sargent (Earl), Brian Gabona (Kathy), Glen and predeceased by siblings Hilda Butler (Roland), Sonya Lubbelinkhof (Dick), Harvey Gabona, Danny Gabona (Pearl), Bob Gabona (Carol). Evelyn will be lovingly remembered by her many extended family and friends.

Evelyn had a wonderfully kind and thoughtful disposition. She was always appreciative of her family, friends and daily life. Evelyn always liked to keep busy, going on car rides, walks and time spent at the farm.

Evelyn was a proud retiree of General Motors in the Administration Offices, where she started working after high school.

Evelyn & Lloyd loved to travel. They enjoyed motorcycle tours across North America, cruises and trips to Europe. They would spend their summers at the cottage on Little Papineau Lake and winters in Florida, always surrounded by their wonderful friends. Evelyn was a wonderful baker and was known for her butter tarts.

Please join with the family at Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East, Oshawa for Visitation on Friday December 12th from 12pm to 1pm followed by a Service in the Chapel at 1pm. The service will be complete followed by a reception and a private interment service.
