Obituary For Eunice Ella Conner (née Worsley)

Entered into rest peacefully at the Ross Memorial Hospital on Thursday, May 1, 2025. Eunice at the age of 90, was the beloved wife of the late Murray Ray Conner. Cherished Mother to Barbara Conner, Nancy Johnsen (the late Cliff), and Stephen Conner (Rhonda). Loving Grandmother to Philip, Bethany Johnsen, Nicholas, Joshua, Nathan, and Grace Conner. Predeceased by her parents, Herbert Worsley and Kathleen (née Hewie), and siblings; Leila Black (Wes), Dulcie Bell, Denton Worsley (Eva), Nellie McLean (Alec), and Beulah Worsley. Eunice will be remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Eunice started working at TD Bank in Toronto. After getting married she transferred to TD Bank, in Lindsay. She then started working for Canada Post, then back to TD Bank until her retirement. She was on the executive of the Horseman's Association, Cameron United Church, Cameron Baseball Association and Zion Fenelon Cemetery Board. Friends and family are invited to call at the Stoddart Funeral Home, 24 Mill Street, Lindsay on Sunday, May 4th from 2:00 – 4:00pm and 6:00 – 8:00pm, and on Monday, May 5th from 10:00am until time of funeral service in the chapel at 11:00am. Interment will follow at Zion Fenelon Cemetery. A Reception will follow at Fenelon Township Community Centre, 2255 Elm Tree Road, Cambray, Ontario. If desired, a memorial donation may be made to the Humane Society of Kawartha Lakes, the Canadian Diabetes Association, or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. Eunice's family would like to thank all of the staff at 140 William Street Retirement Home and appreciate the friendship she enjoyed with Freda and Vance, a special thanks to the Ross Memorial Hospital, Dr. Hainer, Dr. Butan, and the medical team which has helped her over the past few years, and to Jacki Berwick for her help in transitioning Mom to 140 William Street.
