Obituaries

It is with great sadness the family of Bonnie announces her passing on November 15th, 2025, just shy of her 89th birthday. Bonnie has been reunited with the love of her life Kenneth Robert Lamb who passed away over 31 years ago. She leaves behind her only son, Stephen Kenneth, his wife Marnie (nee Brumwell), and 3 cherished grandchildren Payton (Darius), Carter (Rowan) and Amy. A kind and generous mother and grandmother, Bonnie doted on us all with pride and joy. Her passing creates a huge void in our hearts and home.

Bonnie was the eldest child of Thomas Curtin and Grace Tompkins and is predeceased by her brother Gary Curtin and sister Sharon Suggitt. She is survived by sister Diane Minaker who will miss her dearly, along with many nieces and nephews from the Curtin and Lamb side of the family.

Bonnie was a devoted employee of Crayola Canada who worked tirelessly for 43 years on the line and volunteered for many years after at the United Way Sales. It was through this job she met her dearest friend and “chosen sister” Cynthia Harper (Wayne) who will mourn her passing greatly. A devout catholic, Bonnie attended St. Mary’s church and lived her best Christian life. Aligning her beliefs with community she amassed over 150 donations of her blood to local Canadian Blood Services drives to help others in need.

A special thank you to the wonderful staff at The Ross Memorial Hospital Palliative Care unit who took such great care of Bonnie in her final days.

A visitation will take place on Thursday November 20th, 2025 from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 31 Russell St. East Lindsay at 1:00 pm. Interment will take place at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
