Passed away peacefully on Wednesday November 26, 2025 at his home. Elam W. Martin, age 81, of Lindsay. Husband of Luella (Martin) Martin. Father of Ruth Martin, Edward (Minerva) Martin, all of Lindsay, Edna (Edgar) Gingrich of Elmira, Luke (Shirley) Martin of Ridgetown, Miriam Martin, David Martin, all of Lindsay, Ornan (Connie) Martin of Hope, B.C., Lanolis (Martha) Martin of Lindsay. Also survived by 22 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Brother of Salome (late Christian) Martin. Brothers-in-law Owen Martin (late Elvina), Irvin Brubacher (late Saleda). Sisters-in-law Salema (late Mahlon) Martin, Melinda (late Ervin) Martin, Martha (late Ivan) Marin, Ellen (late Abner) Knorr. Predeceased by his parents Onias and Catherine (Weber) Martin, sister Elvina, brother Amsey, also 8 brothers-in-law and 4 sisters-in-law. Friends may call at home, 1321 County Road 36, Lindsay, on Thursday November 27 5:00p.m. - 8:00p.m., Friday November 28, 12:30p.m.-2:30p.m., 4:00p.m.-6:00p.m. Funeral service will be held at 9:00a.m. at the home on Saturday, November 29, then to Valleyview Mennonite meeting house for burial and further service.
