Entered into rest at Frost Manor, Lindsay on Thursday, November 27, 2025 in his 63rd year. Beloved son of the late Joan and Garnet Powell. Survived by his loving brother Robert, and predeceased by Ronnie and Rick. Proud Uncle to Elora Powell (Joey Stewart), Yvonne Middleton, and Garion Powell. Cherished nephew to Sharon Wakelin (Michael) and the late Ken Mintz (Lou). Great-Uncle to Ryder, and Jayden Powell. Douglas was a proud member of St. Paul’s Anglican Church, and a true fan of the Toronto Blue Jays. Visitation will take place at St. Pauls’ Anglican Church, 45 Russell Street West, Lindsay on Thursday, December 4th from 9:30am until time of funeral service at 10:00am. Interment to follow at Riverside Cemetery. If desired, a memorial donation can be made to Community Living Kawartha Lakes which would be appreciated by the family.
