Obituaries

With deep and profound sadness, we announce the passing of Dorothy Muriel Stepp (nee. Tyndall), on Saturday November 8, 2025, at the Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay. A long-time resident of Walnut Grove apartments, and lately of Adelaide Place, both in Lindsay.

Muriel was predeceased by her husband James Howard (2005), her parents Norman and Annie Tyndall (1987 & 2002), and her brothers Carl (1937), and Donald (2011). Muriel will be greatly missed by her sister-in-law Betty of Lindsay, her niece Deborah (Frank), of Westport, her grandniece Amanda of Ottawa, her cousin Carol of Stouffville, her many Bell cousins, and Howard’s Cammack family of Norland, the Chase family of Timmins and Stittsville, and her very close friend, Pam of Lindsay.

A visitation was held at the Stoddart Funeral Home on Sunday November 16 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm with a service in the chapel at 1:00 pm. Internment will take place at Goodwood Cemetery in the Spring.

Donations to the CNIB Guide Dogs, or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family and can be made online, or by cheque at the funeral home.
