Dorothy Lorraine Snell left this world on October 8, 2025 surrounded by her family.

She died peacefully with grace and integrity – the way she lived her life.

Dorothy encountered hardships during her lifetime but managed to come through them a wiser person. She loved nature deeply and had respect for all living things. Her last ten years in Fenelon Falls offered her daily views of trees and birds. She made friends, joined a Tai Chi Club, read voraciously and could always be found with a jigsaw puzzle on her table.

Dorothy loved her husband, three children, step-children, nieces, nephews and great grandchildren fiercely. Family was the center of her world and she was always there to lend a helping hand or kind word of support.

Dorothy never forgot the hard times of her past and made a point to give to organizations that supported people in need. She was always the first to suggest that we sponsor a family for Christmas or donate to a local charity.

Her love of music and singing was a thread that wove through her life.

Dorothy will be greatly missed but always remembered in our hearts.
