Obituaries

Donna June Baker, 89, of Saintfield, Ontario, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on January 31st, 2026. Born on June 29th, 1936, in Uxbridge, Ontario, she was the youngest daughter of Stuart and Irene Ball. Predeceased by her brother, Lloyd, and her sister, Helen.

Donna will be deeply missed by her husband of almost 69 years, Rodney, as well as her 4 children, Gary (Julie), Derek (Ruth), Jackie (Keith), and Darryl (Karin). Lovingly remembered by her 12 grandchildren alongside their spouses and 9 great grandchildren. She will also be dearly missed by her many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

Our family would like to thank everyone at Caressant Care Mary Street for their outstanding care Mom received while there. It was a short time, but their support and compassion went above and beyond.

As per family wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a Celebration of Life held in the Spring of this year.

Mom will be truly missed; she was one of a kind.
