Obituaries

Dad is finally at peace, joining our mother and sister in heaven. Donald was the beloved husband of the late Doreen Cole (2017). Together they built a life filled with love and support, facing life’s joys and challenges side by side. He was the proud father of five children: Bonnie (Dave) Ford, Terry (Sandra) Cole, Judy (Bruce) Draper, Nancy (Ken) Draper, and the late Tracy Cole. He will be lovingly remembered as “Grampy” to his grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Donald is remembered by his sisters, Joan Todd and Doreen Townsend, and by his brother Robert Cole. He was predeceased by his brothers and sister in laws Harold (Vera) Cole and Norman (Maureen) Cole, Darlene Cole, and brother in laws Joe Todd, Bill Townsend and Ross Cayley. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Caressant Care McLaughlin, Lindsay, for their care and compassion. If desired, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice. A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 6, 2025, with visitation from 10:00 a.m.- 11:00 a.m.. Funeral at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel at Jardine Funeral Home, 8 Princes’ St. W., Fenelon Falls.
