Obituary For Deborah Kathleen Brown

We have lost a wonderful woman as Debbie has taken her final challenge as she always did, head on. She began her life in the Muskokas but grew up in west Toronto and Richmond Hill. After working in Toronto at a boring government job, she became a dental assistant before moving to Fenelon Falls to be closer to family. A marriage to George Brown, a son Michael and years at the Fenelon ball park, time at Poole marine, Dawson marine and Fenelon marine, she joined the Bobcaygeon Inn. When owner Ted Rodd sold and returned to Lindsay Cleaners, she went with him. For 18 years Debbie was the Director of operations and face of the company. She will be dearly missed by employees and dearly missed by the boss. Debbie leaves her son Michael, and Nikki, grand children Jade, Amelia, and Logan. She also leaves brother Doug Chreptyk, sister Joanne Greasley (Derrick), Debbie was predeceased by father John Chreptyk and mother Lois, and the late George Brown. She often bragged about her younger years in Toronto at Royal York and concert venues where she watched such stars as Natalie Cole, Andy Williams and had her hand kissed by Little Joe Cartwright. She enjoyed conventions in New Orleans which included a drive thru many states, Florida, Las Vegas, Greece, and Italy were also enjoyed before she was so rapidly taken. Her favorite time of year was Christmas, she always went all out when it came to decorating, and loved to spoil people with items she knew would mean something to them. Thank you to medical staff at the Ross and PRMC. Ted,Bubba and Gigi are lost without you. We will miss your great cooking. Rest easy woman.
