Obituaries

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Dave Webster on May 7, 2026, at the age of 67.

Dave was the beloved husband of Vicky (née Faulkner) for 29 years. He was the proud father of Ashley, Andrew (Emily), Tyler, and Josh, and a doting Grandpa to Dean, Clarke, and Luke. He is survived by his brother, Karl, and his wife, Mary, and was predeceased by his parents, Doug and Mary.

Following a 30-year career with General Motors in Oshawa, Dave continued with A&B Rail in Edmonton and later Dufferin Construction in Lindsay. His great passions were fishing, hunting, and hanging out in the garage with family and friends—door open and the Jays or Leafs game on the radio.

A “hockey guy” through and through, Webby grew up in Lindsay and always took pride in winning an OMHA Championship with the Lindsay Muskies. That passion carried on at Northlin Park, where he was out every winter night making the neighbourhood rink, so kids had a place to skate and be outdoors.

In keeping with Dave’s wishes, cremation has taken place, a Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. If you would like to donate in his memory, please consider Ross Memorial Hospital, Cancer Care at PRHC, or the Canadian Cancer Society.
