It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Bruce Coutts MacFayden on May 11, 2026, at the age of 92.

Bruce is survived by his daughters, Donna (John) and Wendy (Michael) , grandfather to Peter, Adam, Steven, Kyra and Mike. He was a proud great grandfather to Luke, Evie, James, Abigail, Valerie, Tucker and Shailene. Bruce is predeceased by his loving wife Connie of 32 years, his brothers, Clifford, Keith and his sister Verna.

Bruce was a hardworking man who built his career in the printing business but was happiest when he was spending time with family at get together and creating unforgettable memories along with his many nieces and nephews. He was highly active in his youth, playing team sports throughout his entire life but as he got older and could not enjoy the games he used to play, you would find him with a golf club in his hand or on the curling rink. An avid sports lover all of his life, Bruce had an opinion or prediction on any game that was being played at any time.

Bruce will be remembered for his laughter and his zest for life. He never lost his sense of humour. He made every moment unforgettable and will be deeply missed.

In typical Bruce fashion, there are no services planned with pomp and circumstance. Instead, a celebration of life will occur with details to be determined.
