Suddenly passed on Saturday August 2, 2025 at the Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay, at age 84.

Barry Marr beloved husband of the late Pauline (nee Burgoyne) of Omemee. Much loved dad of Mike (Kelly), Doug, and Denise Best (Steve). Loved grandpa of Caitlin Marr, Quinn Marr (Erica), Scott, Dylan, and Robyn Best. Great grandpa of Vitito and Addison Alberti. Dear brother of Bob Marr (deceased), Barb Boden (the late Bruce), and Peg Bourne (Wayne). He will be remembered by his nieces and nephews.

Barry was retired from Gay Lea Foods, and over the years volunteered at the Omemee Foodbank, and the Omemee Lions Club, he is the past president of the Omemee Medical Centre.

A celebration of Barry's life will be held at the Omemee Baptist Church (21 Sturgeon St. North, Omemee) on Saturday, August 23, 2025 from 1-4 p.m. A private family interment will be held at Rosemount Memorial Gardens in Peterborough. If desired memorial donations may be made to the Omemee Food Bank, or the Ross Memorial Hospital.
