Obituary For Barry Alexander Jenkins
Barry Alexander Jenkins passed away peacefully at Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay, Ontario, on Monday, June 22, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family, and on the 63rd anniversary of his marriage. He was the beloved husband of Gayle Ann Jenkins (née Hicks).
Family was the centre of Barry's world. Every decision he made and every action he took was guided by what was best for those he loved. His greatest pride and joy were found in the family he and Gayle built together, and he will be deeply missed by all whose lives he touched.

He will be lovingly remembered by their daughter Marlene Jenkins (Scott Worsley) and her family: granddaughter Tara Moore (Jad Oolo) and great-granddaughter Ashlynn Moore; grandson Broc MacDonald (Mandy) and great-grandchildren Tanner, Maci, Brynn, and Jade; grandson Stewart MacDonald (Kristen) and great-grandchildren Ella and Finn; and grandson Barry MacDonald (Jackie Miller).
He will also be lovingly remembered by their daughter Maxine Jordan (Paul) and her family: granddaughter Nicole Smith (Kyle) and great-grandchildren Carter, Caven, and Caysen; and grandson Devin Jordan (Mattie).
Barry will also be fondly remembered by their daughter Marie Jenkins (Kevin Barker) and her family: grandson Sam McGregor (Samantha Bell); and granddaughter Quinn Young (Cameron) and great-grandchild Miller.
He will always be remembered by his sister, Lynne Papizzo (Bill), and was a cherished brother-in-law to Bruce Hicks (Debbie), Blair Hicks, and Janet McLean (Dale). He will also be missed by his many nieces and nephews.
