Obituary For Annis Devins

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Annis Devins, on November 13, 2025 at Ross Memorial Hospital, in her 88th year. Predeceased by husband Ray (1995). Loving and devoted mother to Dave (Mary), Dianne Angiers (Brad 2019), Sandra Kirkwood, Janet Devins and Sharon Tamlin (Paul). Lovingly remembered by all her favourite grandchildren Sally Ayres (Luke), Jason (Jacey Davis), Josh Kirkwood (Tonya), Curtis Angiers (Dayna Dickson), Julie Mann (Heath), Devin Kirkwood, Emma Arthur (Chris) and Brett Tamlin. Proud “GG” to Jacob, Jackson and Grace Ayres, Ryker and Brynlie Devins, Alayna Malcom (Brad), Landon, Ava Lynn and Seth Kirkwood, Trent and Leah Angiers and Aiden Arthur. Great-great-grandmother to Barrett Malcom. Sister-in-law Sylvia Alexander (Bob) will hold a lifetime of memories close to their hearts. Predeceased by sister-in-law Pat McPhee. Annis will be missed by her nieces and nephew and lifelong friends Lorne and Millie Lawder. Fondly remembered by many for her home cooked meals prepared for their special occasions celebrated at the Wagon Wheel and her ability to never forget a birthday, anniversary or important date due to her record keeping, always filling out a calendar each year and recording occasions, weather and visitors who she seen that day. To honour Annis’ wishes cremation has taken place and there will not be a formal funeral service. If desired, donations can be made to CNIB Guide Dogs or The War Amps through Mackey’s Funeral Home.

Annis’ family would like to say a special “thank you” to the team at Country Estate Retirement Home and the Nurses and Doctors in the Palliative and Medical units at RMH.

“Remember the days, the good and the bad, and cherish the time together that we had. Time goes by - life goes on, but your memories are never gone”
