Passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer in Lindsay on January 30, 2026 at the age of 68.

Alexandra (Sandi) was predeceased by her parents Hendrick and Elizabeth Vandenberg and stepfather Antal Eisenbacher. She is survived by her long time partner Neil Riddell, three children Adam Connor (wife Emily Ames), Scott Connor (wife Jennifer Isaacson) and Karen Ryan (husband Justin Ryan), three brothers Chris (Mary Ann), Mike (Vicky) and Steve, as well as her grandchildren Christine, Raven, Mallory, Cassidy, Olivia and Alexandria (Ellie), and great-grandchildren Rebecca (Becca), Bradley, Isabelle (Bella), Sage and Zera, and many friends.

Sandi was always very social and outgoing. In her younger years in Toronto she worked as a waitress (including the Golden Nugget, the "Cab", and J.J. Muggs), and was a well-known face for many years at the Beer Store in Beaverton, and Sobeys in Fenelon Falls. She also ran her own Candle Factory outside of Fenelon with her partner Neil.

Sandi was always the life of the party and will be fondly remembered for her witty humour, fondness of card and board games, love of animals and incredibly easygoing nature.

A private service will be held for immediate family. Donations in honour of her memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
