Passed away peacefully, on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at the Victoria Manor in Lindsay, at age 91 Alanna (née Angus), belove wife of the late Robert Coles. Loving mother of Thomas Flommerfelt, Bruce Flommerfelt (Linda Fedora), Ruthanne Kenyon (the late Don), and Ian Flommerfelt (Christine Kraft). Step-mother of Paula Fogt (Jim), and Peppi Lynott (Vince). Loving grandmother of John (Melissa), Rachel (Bryan McComb), Lance (Aaleigha), Tina (Mario), Lucia (Steve), and great-grandmother of Evan and Joy, Austin and Hedley, Marco, Nico, Caelix, and Gabbriella. Step-grandmother of Emma Fogt (Mike), Derik Fogt (Jennie), Gregory Phillips (Chantel) and step-great grandmother of Thomas, James, Nora-Jo and Rory. Sister of Fredrick Angus (Tanis). Predeceased by her children's father Thomas "Tom" Flommerfelt. Will be remembered by her friends Desiree Lodge, Joan Purssord, and Sandie Fedora. Alanna was a Red Cross swim instructor, a speed swimmer, representing Canada in the Empire Games in 1948. The family of Alanna Angus-Coles will receive friends at the Stoddart Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 24 Mill Street in Lindsay, on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 from 10 - 11 a.m. A service to celebrate her life will be held in the chapel at 11 a.m. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations maybe made by cheque through the funeral home or online by clicking here to Ross Memorial Hospital Foundation.
