The fund provides financial assistance to non-profit, community-based organizations that provide programs, projects, services, or activities that enhance the quality of life for residents in the areas of health, arts, culture, leisure, heritage, education and the environment. Organizations that do not have non-profit status are eligible to apply through a non-profit sponsor.
In recent years, grants included funding for events such as Bobcaygeon Canada Day, the Ontario Open Fiddle and Step dance competition, the Bobcaygeon Skating Club Carnival, and the Electronic Vehicle Society Environmental Fair as well as funds for Globus Theatre, Bobcaygeon Summer Music Camps, Bobcaygeon Minor Ball and Bobcaygeon Soccer.
